Competition Commission in Europe is going to submit a legal action to the Google corporation. The company is accused of that they had put money assistance to smartphones producers that have installed Google-search the system by default. German media reported that the producers have installed this system as the only to search the web.

The investigation revealed that Google Inc. has been practicing such methods since January 2011, and now it are threatened with substantial fine. Also, according to documents from the European Commission, the lobby group Fair Search lodged a similar complaint in March 2013. Representatives of Google and the European Commission are currently do not comment on the situation.

In April 2016 the European Commission has officially accused Google of unfair competition in the smartphone market in Europe through illegal negotiations with manufacturers of telephone devices on Android platform. According to data from Brussels, Google has forced smartphones and other portable devices producers to install the Chrome Web browser and Google search, if they added the Play Store app to the menu of gadgets. Google did not allow to install other operating systems. The European Commission has already sent official notification of their claims to the corporation.
